Let's give up as you're not stupid but you're not getting the point about
unlocking a phone 1000 times versus only unlocking that same phone once.

You're doing what you always do: focusing on something that is in reality trivial and making it the hill you want to die on.
Who cares how many times a day I unlock my phone...
...if it doesn't inconvenience me at all to do so?
