 Unless you're especially tough on your phone, (or perhaps have a very
cheap one?) they're a waste of money IMO. My Galaxy S10+ is 5 years old,
has never worn one, and has nary a scratch...

I had a Huawei for over 6 years which I kept in a small holster and it was unmarked when I replaced it by a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. That got badly marked within a couple of months by coins in the same pocket (they were the only metal with which the screen came into contact). It was supposed to have had a gorilla glass screen.
