I just hunted for one with no success. Surely this would be a basic thing when you want to take a fast shot without the camera taking time to focus. Like fireworks, for example. Most of my fireworks shots were garbage, either out of focus or taken a fractional second after I clicked.
I've tried several other apps, but they all seem wanting in one way or another and I just got tired of testing, which is why I'm still using the native one.
Anybody got a favorite?
Interesting.
I was, a month ago, trying to take a shot of a lighthouse, trying to get the instant that the intermittent light is on. The logic in the camera always synced on the dark time, because the camera actually takes several fast shots and then joins them into one, to add light in some auto night mode (the classic method we used was a long exposure with a tripod). I had to disable that mode to get it to sync on the lighthouse bright instant (which also illuminates the countryside in red).
