Android 15 update for Pixel 6

Is this update still bricking Pixel 6 phones?
On the one hand, I have been holding off on the update due to the initial reports. My guess is that Goog is all but ignoring the problem at this point.
On the other hand, hearing some of the other issues folks have had with a successful update, I would be smart to continue to hold off on this one.
On the third hand, I want the new shiny.
