When I try to copy files from Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04)
to my Xioumi M9 cellphone it returns this error message:
"libmtp error: Could not send object info."
The mtp files installed on Linux are:
libmtp-common
libmtp-runtime
libmtpg
libnet-smtp-ssl-perl
It worked a month ago (?)
Don't use Linux, but do remember in Android settings there was a choice
of how the USB port in the phone gets used. For me, the nav path is:
Android settings -> General -> Developer Options (*) -> Select USB
Configuration. Set to MTP mode.
(*) You have to first enable Developer options.
You'd think this setting wouldn't change in a month, but I have seen a
prompt asking me for the USB mode, so it's possible a user changed the
setting accidentally.
