NO. Again, NO.
You will see a QR displayed on the computer, and then you take a photo of it with your mobile phone. That is the procedure. I have told you this a few times already.
The photo will be either taken with some Google app, or will link to an URL that you have to navigate to on the phone.
This is basically the same procedure used by WhatsApp to activate whatsapp on the computer.
There is no SMS involved at all.
