This is annoying. Is there a way to turn off not only Discover but
the nags to turn it on? I couldn't find anything in settings for the

 I googled when I first noticed this problem a few weeks ago, but came
up empty. I tried again, after posting my followup to Vanguard's
article, and this time I got some ideas from this video:

 1. Long-press on the home screen -- not Google's home screen, the
phone's home screen. Tap "Home settings".

I had to view the video to verify (0:31). I do not get that home screen when long tapping the main display on an empty space. I get a small pop up that says (translated from Spanish):
  personalize
  wallpapers
  widgets
  configure display
But "configure display" does take me to that "home settings". Once there, I do not have "add media page to home screen" button. I only have two buttons, not four.
That said, I do not want to disable the thing because I like to waste my time there.
