The browser itself is fine, if you stay away from the crypto/AI stuff.
It's great that Brave is suggested as the whole point of 1:1 replacements
for Google's dirty-dozen apps is P-R-I-V-A-C-Y after all.
Luckily, of all Google apps, the *easiest* one to replace, is Chrome.
You essentially have a billion privacy-oriented browser choices, where
"Ungoogled Chromium" I would think would be the "most obvious" choice - but
Andy Burns found out long ago that Ungoogled Chromium isn't updated as
frequently as it should be.
So your *next* most-obvious choice is Bromite, which is updated frequently.
If you don't want either of those, then the sky is the limit since privacy
Chromium-based browsers abound using both Mozilla & Chromium source code.
The *hardest* app to 1:1 replace with privacy is Google Voice.
Also, for most people, the Google Calendar is hard to replace.
Luckily plenty of privacy-based calendar apps exist.
Likewise, for most people, they think the only MUA on the planet is the
Google GMail app - but for people here - they know K9 & FairEmail exist.
The YouTube app is also one of the *easiest* apps to replace.
As is the Google Play Store app.
