What is "it"? The camera app? A dedicated QR code scanner app - and yes,
which one?
 

The camera app I assume, the thing that takes pictures of my knees by
mistake! :-)

All the promoters of QR codes just say 'scan the QR code' and assume
all the magic will then ensue.
