Very old is a bit subjective.. I got an ipad mini 2 back in 2012 or so.. but after about 8 years the battery stopped working and instead of replacing the battery they replaced the entire device, so I have a replacement ipad mini 2. It's an old model, but it's not physically old because it got replaced with a new one about 4 years ago.
