Who knows what's going to happen with Windows "CoPilot ready" PC's
with NPI's?  How could anyone know, for sure, what it's doing?  How
will anyone know that "features" turned-off will not be turned back
on?
 
Of course, the vast majority will just say "duh" and not know or care,
and their loss of privacy will be profound.
 
Assholes like DumFSck may defend M$ on these issues, but no decent
person would.

how do *you* know turning it off stops them using it in that way?

Dobbs rewrites this, it is invalid precedent.  States are
liable for denying needed abortions, e.g. TX.
