No, the October Revolution started on 25 October just like Christmas in
Russia is 25 December even though you might think it's January.
We use a calendar that stays roughly in sync with the seasons, they
didn’t.
The Julian calendar is close enough for government work. A 365.25 year
versus 365.24 means you gain about 3 days in 400 years. It will be 13 days
off the Gregorian calendar until 2100. Not my problem.
