Very, very old ones.
Anybody using a discrete video card is most likely keeping up with
video drivers. NVIDIA and RADEON are two such examples.

That is one use of video drivers.
Another -- which you are probably more familiar with -- is
to display a gui for drooling over Usenet posts, Youtube,
and whatever else you fancy to look at.
