If you install from the ISO with SP3 integrated, I doubt that would
happen. Almost certainly a pre-SP2 installation that those links
refer to. I never had to worry, even though I was installing from an
original CD, because WiFi wasn't supported, so I just installed the
service packs, and then set up Internet, safely.
