to go by history.
I'm aware of the history. Weren't different factions fighting for
control of that territory before the British gave it away? Wouldn't that
suggest that they were at odds and therefore not peaceful?
Yeah, they were called Zionist terrorists (the gangs who bombed the buses,
etc.). And that began happening shortly before the British gave them the
Zionist state by stealing it from the Palestinians. It was the beginning of
the terrorist state called Israel, not reflected in the centuries before
that the terrorists began Zionist terrorist campaign.
That might be the case. However, I've seen how Muslims deal with debates
on religion and how much respect they offer to people who think
differently. To say the least, they are very violent. It's not normal
that I wouldn't be able to analyze a song with my students because
Muhammad in the corner was told that music is haram and will get violent
if I play it. It's not normal that I can't watch a show with the kids
because Muhammad Jr. in the corner thinks two characters kissing is
haram and will get violent if I show it. It's not normal that I
constantly have to worry about the crucifix I wear showing because
Muhammad the Third in the corner was taught that Jesus didn't really die
on the cross and will get violent if he sees it. The reality is that it
is impossible to live peacefully with them because every value we have
and every sign we display is offensive to them.
Christians in Israel face the same kind of issues with the Orthodox Jews
(and the IDF). They're spit on and their churches are shuttered on Christian
holy days.
I'm not a Muslim and I don't like a lot of their crap, but you've got to
remember, it was the Palestinians who were driven out of their homes and
businesses and were driven into refugee camps. These homes and businesses
were given to the Jews (simply because they were Jews) who streamed in from
all over the world.
Europe (and the U.S. and Canada) are doing something similar by moving
illegal aliens (many Muslim) to the front of the line for benefits while the
native citizens stand at the back of the line and watch. I know you already
resent this, but how much more would you resent having your home confiscated
from you and given to an illegal alien? (Probably a Muslim.)
That's what happened to the Palestinians. Gaza is basically an open air
prison. And American Jews "vacation" in Israel by burning down orchards and
destroying homes while backed by the IDF on the West Bank. They then claim
the property for their own. There's only so much of that crap that anyone
can take.
So, while I don't like the Muslim religion, I can understand what drives
their hatred for the Israelis. Under similar circumstances you would
probably be a "terrorist" as well. (As if carpet bombing civilians, and
denying them food, water and medicine is not the act of terrorist and
genocidal state.)
The Gazans have a reason to hate Jews, but they would have hated them
regardless of whether anything had been done to them. Heck, the entire
religion advocates for a hatred of both Christians and Jews, the latter
of which was on the pretense that they had persecuted Muhammad. Of
course, no evidence of this exists outside the Koran. Heck, in most
reports within the Koran, it is said that the Muslims were treated well
by the Jewish hosts. Of course, it doesn't matter how well you were
treated once you have an army much larger than that of your hosts.

This is a pattern we constantly see with Muslim: peaceful until they
have the numbers.
