Video driver in use is from this binary blob:
NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-550.54.14.run
(The newer 550.67 blob has troubles on my setup.)

What kind of "troubles" are you experiencing?
In my extensive GNU/Linux experience, Nvidia has really gotten their act
together over the past couple of years year or so.
In the past, with each new kernel, there were bound to be problems but
not anymore.
My current systems:
Linux: 6.8.1
Nvidia: 550.67
FYI, the Nvidia binary blob is not a total "blob." It has some
open-source code that can be compiled by the user.
On Gentoo, the ultimate distro, it compiles and runs with no problems.
Perhaps your inferior, stinking distro is providing junk.
I would not be surprised.
I was working outside of the distribution, on my own, blazing my
own trail.
Something Furled Fart is unable to do with his Linux kernel.
He is a Gentoo "distro-lackey", which he admits above. Tsk, tsk.
