know that I couldn't go to Mint 22,
I did read, but you didn't say much:

Seems you gave up on Mint 22.x pretty quickly.

and you know me, I'm an early
adopter.  So that was unacceptable.

  I would still say that if I could've installed 22, but there are other
distros.
