For example, renaming a file
is very easy with a mouse. It's no more difficult within the terminal
but you need to learn how to do it with a terminal, you can guess with a
GUI program. So, the mouse seems to be easier than the terminal.

But, if you want to rename hundreds of files, it's neither more
difficult with a GUI program than within the terminal. But it will be
faster within a terminal than within the GUI program in which you need
to rename all your files one by one.

GuhNoo/Linux/FOSS can't compete.
  That doesn't look so wonderful.
I guess you've never had to rename 100 files in a variety of ways.  When you do, you'll find out that compared to using scripts, ReNamer is extremely wonderful.
A few clicks and your new file names have a space inserted at the 4th position, all dashes are replaced with underscores or spaces, and every word is capitalized.
Free at last!

If you like it, cool, but Windows isn't the only game in town.
True for many things.  But if you want employment you'll need to know Windows (basics anyway).
