You might work around that by saying it's "with one's knowledge", but
that's the whole fucking point, you don't really have a choice. 

You have the choice to not use Windows if you don't like their data collection policies.
I don't like that they extract anything whatsoever from my computer: it's none of their business.  Or that they try to make you sign in to an MS account just to login to your damn computer.
It's conceivable there could come a day when I won't tolerate some MS policy or another, and switch to Macs or Linux.  Unlikely but possible.

You can consent or not, they're going to do it anyway.
