Microsoft's responses to various questions seem a little evasive.
FAR more troublesome than this Bing Wallpaper app are the many, if not most, websites which prompt you to subscribe, accept notifications, accept cookies, save your password, etc.  Over and over and over and over.  So sick of dismissing the intrusive requests.
And Google reads your cookies and/or Google searches and shows you targeted advertising everywhere you go online.
