What is it with these Windows 10 users so hard up to “upgrade” to
Windows 11? Do they really believe they are missing out on something?
Do they think their ongoing dissatisfaction with their OS can be
remedied, if only they go up just one more version?
It was amusing to read this report
<
https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/12/microsoft-reiterates-non-negotiable-tpm-2-0-requirement-for-windows-11/>
about the ongoing attempts to come up with hacks to get around
Microsoft’s restrictions on “unsupported” machines upgrading. The best
thing the writer could find to say about Windows 11 was
... but aside from that, Windows 11 usually runs about as well on
these PCs as Windows 10 did.
