Then why would a programmer do that? AND and OR both single out a case out of four possibilities, by looking for a case when both sides of the operator match. But IMP seems to be an attempt to introduce and single out a case where _only_ the left side be 1 and the right side be 0.
I don't understand what was the motive behind introducing this into programming language. The same singling out is very easily arranged with using an AND operator. "if (A = 1) AND (B = 0) then you get a False".
In other words, you don't have to generate a False to have a False. You can assign a False!
