I can get around in either interface, but I can admit that the ribbon
looks nicer. As for which is easier for new users, I have no idea.
It’s obvious that one makes more efficient use of your screen space than
the other: by placing the Sidebar to the side, you can see more of a
portrait-oriented document at once.
Simple logic, really.
