around to your place sniffing for your 'girl cock'.
Relax, Beavis.  Using "they" in passing is very common, today.
Not when you know you're addressing a sane person.

For a while now I used Linux only for wget, because the GNU for Windows
binary of wget was so old.  2008ish.

But I tried it, and it works fine other than it usually requires the
--no-check-certificate flag on the websites I'm downloading.
So, admitting that Winblows really does blow.
It's a wget/developer issue, not a Windows issue.  The port of wget to Windows I use was last updated in 2008.

But I just now found what looks like a more recent version

Definitely a much newer version.  And it works without the --no-check-certificate flag.  Amazingly, the executable above is 21x larger than the original.
Hey, see what I did there?  I added terminal output directly into a Usenet post.  Mind = blown.

Microsoft Windows on a computer you keep a long time,
I ran my last system ~12 years.  Same mobo and case and power supply, but upgraded the RAM and video card and storage and monitor.

depending on that arbitrary, aging version,
meaningless babble
Keep this in mind: most of the world will use desktop Windows their entire lives.

until your computer finally blows its brains out.
ha!  So far my Windows systems exhibit no suicidal ideation.

I choose Linux.
And Wine to run Windows apps.
I'm just not close to being willing to give up MS Office, Notepad++, SumatraPDF and other apps in exchange for the Linux alternatives.  FML if I was ever forced to use LibreOffice and Thunar every day - that is some seriously craptastic software.
