The part I like is you can add a Registry key only if you know it exists.
In windows 2000 you could easily have tab completion in the cmd console --
if you knew what to set. Getting the full menu for an explorer right click
in Windows 11 is the same deal.
I have a now obsolete book that listed all the Registry options. You could
do strange and wondrous things -- if only you knew.
I can't claim innocence. The company I work for uses a system
configuration file base on the ini format. There are options, some of
which are extra cost, that can be turned on if you happen to know they
exist.
