The very first question I asked was, are the dip switches set for an IBM
computer ("IBM" included clones). He said, "no." We spent an 90 minutes
on the phone going over every possible issue. I finally asked again, are
you SURE the dip switches are set for Tandy and not IBM? "Oh, wait a
minute... hey it's working."
We got a call that our plastic preheater wasn't putting out full power.
The first question is 'Did you check the fuses?' The guy replied he had
and they were fine. We continued down the list of possible problems with
no resolution. The enxt morning I was on a plane.
3 phase machinery has 3 fuses, strange to say. If you measure the voltage
across the machine side you can see a phantom voltage feeding back through
the circuitry. You can either measure across the fuse or better yet pull
the fuse and check for continuity.
So I replaced the blown fuse and headed for the airport.
