I have learned so much from LFS and I am truly grateful. Without LFS

It's continued existence, however, strongly proves that not every user is content
with being a totally impotent distro lackey. People want to learn how to control
GNU/Linux and LFS gives them the knowledge.

LFS deserves the utmost respect and admiration from ALL GNU/Linux users.

All hail Linux From Scratch!

YES totally agree, I always give students and other people I mentor
the assigment to learn linux with LFS, because all this distro hopping is for people
that really are ok linux users, but not linux engineers or linux hackers,
if you know Linux at a low level you just get a distro that DOES NOT GET
IN YOUR FACE like gentoo/arch and then build from there, your kernel,
with your drivers, with your <add here whatever> there is no need for
distro hopping, that is just hopping from a group of programs and
configurations that some people choose for you to another.
Happy Hacking
