Probably not a bad way of looking at it. A lot of Americans (and Brits)
react emotionally instead of logically. And that goes for both the Left and
the Right.
 
My brother occasionally sends me links to something called Gateway Pundit.
Always a screaming, click-bait headline, that is almost always shown to be
total BS, even in the words of the actual article they post. (Or, if not
total BS, something a lot less dramatic than the headline would indicate.)
 
I usually just ignore these links now. There's enough real crap to get me
riled up, I don't need additional made-up crap.

The only things I know about Gateway Pundit is that they have screeching,
misleading headlines and I don't like going there. I guess I could look up
Jim Hoft sometime... if I can summon up enough interest.
