That would make sense. It's simple enough that the dev probably wasn't
working on it for years.
My kind of stuff. I've used the expat library for parsing XML for years.
It's shown a little more activity lately, mainly cosmetic touch-ups but it
often went years between versions. After initial fixes it worked well and
continued to work well. No surprises like when OpenSSL went to 3.x.
