Windows isn't their cash cow, yeah, that is true, but to pretend that
we've really made a dent in the market for it is not reality, macOS
and Linux have gained marginally in recent years, as well as ChromeOS,
but Windows 10 and 11 are still the mainstays of the desktop market,
because they're what people know. We here in COLA know how much Win11
is bloatware, but that is irrelevant to a lot of people, who see a
computer as something to be provided to them by an OEM, that's where
M$ sells its platform mainly, people for better or worse use their
crapware because they simply don't have the time and impetus, to do
something different.
