They were open. She was not a candidate. Biden was rubber-stamped despite
low approval ratings and increasingly evident senility. Sometime between
the close of the primaries in June and July 21 the Democrats noticed
Biden's problems.
What other serious contenders were there, than Biden (and Harris by
being his running mate)?
