When people say “Unix”, they usually have in mind how a traditional *nix
system is supposed to work, not a licensee of a legal trademark. Because
that’s all Apple’s OS is -- a “Unix” in (trademarked) name, not in
functionality. So forget the “real” -- there’s nothing “real” about it.
Use “legal” if you must, but not “real”.
That's not true, you can do anything Unix with a Mac, it's just not as
straightforward as booting Linux. But their kernel and Darwin
implementation are legit.
