Windows never did multiple desktops very well, did it?
Windows 11 does it satisfactorily. Windows has been able to handle
multiple displays for a long time. With more hardware using DisplayPort
it's easier to set up. We did have one site that used a combination of
DisplayPort and HDMI that drove their IT people nuts.
That was one shortcoming of Windows. I'd tried the third party solutions
before the ability was incorporated into the OS and they were klunky.
Anyway, the dispatchers don't want multiple desktops, just multiple
applications displaying on multiple monitors.
