It's amazing the damage a few years of aging can do.
True, plus contracting CoVid has increased this cognitive decline too:

The scary part is that repeated infections are cumulative. Only good news is that vaccination appears to reduce the cognition loss risk.
Repeated CoVid infections (especially amongst anti-vaxxers) certainly could go a long ways in explaining the current political climate too.
