Why did you love Windows "shittiness" so?
When I built this computer, in 2021, Win10 20H2 was great, Win11
through 22H2 was also great. 23H2, a mere two and a half years after
I assembled the parts, started to suck. I got out while the gettin'
was good. I've said this before, you know it.
Why did you give up on Linux?
What the hell are you talking about? I built a new computer. Win10
20H2 on the old one was trash. I put Linux back on it right away, as
everyone here knows.

Three small, basically *outdated* apps, that I really enjoy using, and
work fine under Wine. Duh.
that he'll accept the unbelievably bad design.

When running Windows you rarely have to deal with the bad parts of
Windows: inscrutable OS file layout, insane Registry, updates forcing
reboots that interrupt your work.

When running Linux you ALWAYS have to deal with GuhNoo/Linux (cr)apps.
I just find that hyperbolic, at best.

Dobbs rewrites this, it is invalid precedent. States are
