 Use and develop only FOSS software and chances are very high you'll end up with nothing.

Never done dev but I did some coding in another life, now I just 'use' FOSS exclusively  ...yet there isn't a single person on his planet that I would trade places with in my past present and hopefully future. Nothing to one may be everything to another.
