Sure, but Visual Studio is an App, not an OS.
Granted, Clippy was part of the MS-Office App, not the OS, but MS has had some fuzzy disembarkation lines for decades (eg, Internet Explorer).
And FWIW, I'm not saying that RonB was wrong to be complaining about Clippy .. it was bad .. but simply that sins from a couple of decades ago just aren't all that relevant anymore to contemporary life.
