So I have to take my Phillips screwdriver with a 4-inch shaft and angle it about
30 degrees and then provide additional force to tighten the screws. It works but
it is not the ideal solution.
You and your drag-queen drama make everything difficult.
You don't have to use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten Phillips head screws. In a situation like this where you don't need much torque, use a long, thin slot head screwdriver.
If you don't have long screwdrivers, go buy them for cheap.
Or use the thumb screws on the heat sink. If you put the mobo in the case first and you can't reach the thumb screws from above, slap yourself and start over.
