I never bothered. The old Dell had 7 and I dual booted it with OpenSUSE.
The Beelink had 11 Pro and I replaced it with Ubuntu. I don't know what
the manufacturers pay for the OEM licenses but it doesn't add much cost
to the system.
OEMs' parts are junk.
