 You were different.  In the end, we thank you for the odd but entertaining posts, the strange code, and the personal eccentricities that gave arise to some interesting discussions.
 I guess that's a nice way of saying you were nearly batshit crazy, and preferred to shit in a bucket.  It's also puzzling that you would choose to go out early like you did, but you must've had your reasons.
 No matter; we, the reg posters of comp.os.linux.advocacy, will miss you.
 

RIP Jeff.  Yes, he certainly was a memorable individual.
I'd not say that he 'chose' to go out early - he had health issues and we knew that he was quite sedentary.  Each person who we know who was lucky enough to live long has beaten the average, which means that there was also someone who died below average, as illustrated by the other decedents on that list:  age 90, 31, & 32.
