Listen up, Junior. I was doing assembly language programming in 1980. Yes, 45
years ago.

But you don't now. Do you. And he does!
Yes I do. No he does not. Copying/pasting some useless code is NOT
"programming in assembly".
You couldn't even answer my question, "What simple editor has the
feature in it whereby it can toggle 'typing replaces highlighted text'?"
What do text editors have to do with assembly language? But since you ask, MS
Word has this. So does Outlook. Probably lots of editors do this. Probably
lots do not. BFD.
What is your point? If you want a list of editors that do this, do an internet
search.
If you know something we don't and it is interesting or pertinent enough to be mentioned in COLA, then go ahead. But I don't remember seeing anything worth reading from you. And then you jump in here to criticize the only COLA frequenter who do have interesting / pertinent stuff to post.
So, perhaps my "point" that you missed is, I see enough of "DFS" style bullshit in here to react to yet another one like you be added.
Did you get my point?
Is Microsoft Word a "simple" editor? Are you dumb too? Are you just another alias of another Bozo here that I've kill-filed? Or are you in fact someone who's had a long technical life and therefore now has something worthwhile to share in COLA. Show that.
