Still using NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-550.142.run binary blob.
Something I noticed: before (Mint 21.3) when running
"sudo make install", dkms would error-out on the NVIDIA
kernel module, but installation would continue. Now,
with Mint 22.1, it errors-out, and installation halts
after the dkms phase of installation. Removing the NVIDIA
module from dkms solves the problem...naturally, it would be better
if it just worked with dkms, but I'm fine with installing directly
from the binary blob after rebooting to the new kernel.
If you're using linux mint why you see any options for kernel upgrade above 6.8.0?
