It *does* a poor job of filtering posts.
Why did you not mention that up front? why was it the first thing that
came to your mind was something as trivial as its conformance (or not) to
prevailing UI fashions?
Like I said, it seems that the actual functionality of the software
manages at best a poor second to how it looks.
