The good old days...  well, not being a masochist, maybe the not so good
old days. I had a lot more patience 25 years ago.

still devoted to the _idea_ that all the code I run will be open-source,
I'm not as willing as I used to be to accept compromises in ease of use.
That said, any non-gaming machine I run, or any "outdated" computer in
my possession will be running Linux going forward. Windows will be on
the newest machine for as long as it's new.
