GB is about right, for how I use a PC.

 
I have a mac with 32GB - not my choice - and use much more resource
demanding apps than you which I almost never use all of it.

Nope. You've given enough info to confirm that you're not a power user so a
basic spec machine will be fine for your *needs*. Whether you want more is
up to you.
