having more chapters than others, but their meaning is essentially the
same. Apparently, there are about forty differences in the wording used,

The deuterocanonicals are an important part of the Bible. They clearly
pointed to Christ, which is why the Jews eventually threw them out, and
Protestants followed their example.
 
Here's an excerpt from Wisdom 2:12-20. This may help explain why the Jews
rejected the deuterocanonicals (they were originally in the LXX or
Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible).
 
    12. “Let us lie in wait for the righteous man, because he is inconvenient
    to us and opposes our actions; he reproaches us for sins against the law,
    and accuses us of sins against our training. 13. He professes to have
    knowledge of God, and calls himself a child of the Lord. 14. He became to
    us a reproof of our thoughts; 15. the very sight of him is a burden to us,
    because his manner of life is unlike that of others, and his ways are
    strange. 16. We are considered by him as something base, and he avoids our
    ways as unclean; he calls the last end of the righteous happy, and boasts
    that God is his father. 17. Let us see if his words are true, and let us
    test what will happen at the end of his life; 18. for if the righteous man
    is God’s son, he will help him and will deliver him from the hand of his
    adversaries. 19. Let us test him with insult and torture, that we may find
    out how gentle he is, and make trial of his forbearance. 20. Let us
    condemn him to a shameful death, for, according to what he says, he will
    be protected.”
 
This was written centuries before Christ's death on the cross. There's also
a lot about the Virgin Mary in the deuterocanonicals, as interpreted by
Catholic saints.

It's not accidental. "Christian" Zionism has been pushed on Americans for
over a century via Scofield's Bible commentaries. It's also where we get the
"rapture," the rebuilding of the Temple (why?) and a lot of other malarkey
totally unrelated to Christianity. Even to the point that Christians believe
they should be subservient to "God's chosen people" who rejected Christ and
blaspheme Him in their Talmud. St. John referred to these Jews who opposed
Christianity and killed Christians as those "who say they are the Jews, but
are not." but are the "synagogue of Satan" twice in the Apocalypse
(Revelation).

    7. He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the
    churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of
    life, which is in the paradise of my God. 8. And to the angel of the
    church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who

    thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews
    and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10. Fear none of those
    things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you
    into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten
    days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of
    life. —Revelation 2

    saith the Holy One and the true one, he that hath the key of David; he
    that openeth, and no man shutteth; shutteth, and no man openeth:  8. I
    know thy works. Behold, I have given before thee a door opened, which no
    man can shut: because thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my
    word, and hast not denied my name. 9. Behold, I will bring of the
    synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.
    Behold, I will make them to come and adore before thy feet. And they
    shall know that I have loved thee. 10. Because thou hast kept the word of
    my patience, I will also keep thee from the hour of the temptation,
    which shall come upon the whole world to try them that dwell upon the
    earth. —Revelation 3
   
There's are a lot of passages (even in the Gospels) that show that those who
followed the "traditions of the elders" and those who believed in God and
His Son, Jesus, were in opposition from the beginning. You'll find the
phrase "for fear Jews" many times in the New Testament. There is no such
thing as "Judeo-Christian." There are Old Testament (Israelite) worshipers
of the True God who looked forward to the coming of the Messiah and
converted to Christianity when He arrived. And there are the Rabbinical Jews
who opposed Christianity, who created a new religion based on the
"traditions of the elders," which became the Satanic Talmud.
