During my annual Medicare 'wellness' visit there is a evaluation form to
determine if statins should be prescribed. My doctor says it is designed
to recommend them regardless. Her take is if I really want them she will
prescribe but my cholesterol is fine. Actually my HDL level is high enough
to offset some of the negative evaluation factors.
fwiw my normal day starts off with garlic, an onion, two eggs, and a slice
of cheese fried in olive oil something that might give a cardiologist a
heart attack.
