so i can complain about how it works in usenet all day
LOL. Seriously though, Ubuntu is pretty damned nice. 25.04 is a perfect replacement of Windows on my Zephyrus G14 2021 because it supports just about everything except for the fingerprint reader out of the box. It even limits battery charge to 80%, which was something I need to install tlp to do (and edit tlp.conf) or compile asus-rog for. Within ten minutes of installation, I have an operating system which works better with my hardware than one which would take me two or three hours to configure. All that needs to be done post installation is removing Snap support, something which can be done with a script.
but you're on usenet all the time ,
it sounds like you have a race car ,
but no place to go over 40
