I think they just enjoy the fact that they can have a number of wives

Mainstream Christian churches are losing members but they keep on growing.
There is a temple planned for here and there are already a number of ward
churches or whatever they are called.
There is a LDS fundamentalist town about 30 miles south. It's generally
believed they are polygamists but they don't cause problems so it's don't
ask, don't tell.
The question for me is whether I want to join a religion because of the
benefits it offers while I live or do I want to join the true faith
shared by God. In my case, it's the latter. I would be wary of any sect
which promises me all sorts of wonderful luxuries if I join.
