The Shiites, for example, aren't usually the "head choppers," that's
nearly always the Sunnis. Guess which ones the U.S. cuddles up to?

Jews in Iran, for example, are not persecuted so long as they identify
as Iranians and not Zionists (Israelis). Iran is a Shiite country.
To further complicate it, Arabs are a small minority in Iran and
frequently persecuted. Iran inherited what was called Arabistan from the
Ottoman Empire and it's been a thorn in their side. The Persians are an
Indo-European people, or what was called Aryan before some unfortunate
20th century events. They don't like Arabs, who are a Semitic people.

It's like one of those logic statements. Most Arabs are Moslems but most
Moslems aren't Arabs. The Arabs seem to be the least civilized.
I keep trying to tell people that the Iranians are not Arabs. They don't
turn on each on each like the Arabs do in time of war.
For what it's worth, my wife's best friend married an Iranian who was a
pretty nice person. Similarly, a former Polish co-worker of mine married
an Iranian man and he was wonderful to her. It should be noted that most
Iranians don't actually support their government and are a lot more
Western than they seem.
When I was in Texas my doctor was from Iran. Best doctor I've ever had.

As for Iranians, yes they had a secular government — until they made the
"mistake" of wanting to profit from their own oil instead of letting U.S.
and European companies take it all. The U.S. sponsored a coup against the
elected government and installed the Shah of Iran and his thug police. So
there is no love for the United States in Iran, even if many of the citizens
long for the days of a secular government. And here's the important thing to
remember about Iranians. If you attack them, they unite. Even the opposition
is patriotic. (Even Iranian Jews are patriotic.) These are not Arabs who
break up into rival tribes when they see a chance to work with an outside,
invading power, for their own gain.
Everything you wrote is confirmed by what I've read, seen in
documentaries and received as testimony to the few Iranians I did talk
to. Heck, I had one in the soccer team I coached years ago. He really
was a good guy. As for the United States going on a demonization
campaign against Iran and Iranians, it's definitely a fact. They've done
the same with South and Central American nations that refused to be
ripped off.
It's been the USA (Rothschild) way for a long time now. We don't have nearly
900 military bases (or installations) all over the world to protect our
borders. They're there to kneecap countries who won't toe the line.
Unfortunately for them, BRICS is breaking up the monopoly. If the
Rosthschild's don't get their "vig" from every international transaction
(via control of the dollar) their empire will collapse. Can't wait for that
to happen.
I imagine that BRICS's success will result in new opportunities for
Canada as well. The problem is that I don't believe our Liberal
government will bother to take advantage of any of them. They've already
made it near impossible for the province of Alberta to enrich itself
with its resources.
